SUSAN SWAIM

As a designer with many years of experience, I have been involved in all aspects of the digital design and development process from strategy to design conceptualizing to testing to implementation while working closely with business and development teams in a variety of settings; international, remote, and local. I have led design teams to the finish line of a product's launch and subsequent releases providing key deliverables and support. By employing the principles of DESIGN THINKING, I strive to produce a clean strong product that will make mobile or web interaction a pleasure rather than a pain.

When I started at Archipelago, our websites were run by our IT department because of the way they were built. Susan did an excellent job of optimizing the sites within very tight constraints. Following some acquisitions we did, she rebuilt those product websites from scratch, improving usability, clarity and performance of the sites. She worked extensively with our 3rd party partner on everything from defining the information architecture and writing the requirements document, to executing the detailed functionality and UI of certain features in the new site, and finally to testing of this enormous new site.”
